Really good, traditional Bavarian food. The best in the area. Pricey but worth it. Really pretty small Biergarten.

Biggest Biergarten with a sociable crowd and real live deer that you can feed with the radishes they sell in the canteen. Obligatory to buy beer at the kiosk, then take your pick from the self serve canteen. Look out for the Steckerlfigsch stall. Some locals bring their own table cloth and food.

Another Biergarten worth mentioning. Reasonable prices and better food than the Hirschgarten. Eat indoors or out.

Elegant historic glasshouse restaurant. Offers delicious, more refined traditional dishes or after a walk round the Schlosspark, just go for a well earned coffee and their trademark "over-the-top" cream puff.
