What to pack
Pack for All types of Weather
When visiting Colorado, you may need just a t-shirt or a down jacket, sometimes in the same day. We get snow every month of the year except August. It can also get to 100F deg in the summer. So pack for layering. Also sunscreen is a must at altitude. You will burn faster here and more severely due to intense sun exposure.
Weather changes frequently here and can be very dramatic at times (e.g. 80 degree temp change in 4 hours) We have a saying here " If you don't like the weather, wait 15 min and it will change"
