Joy's is the best Thai place around. There is take-out and delivery. It's BYOB, so if you decide to eat there and want an adult beverage, be sure to stop at the CVS or Walgreens on the way!

This is a great cheese & wine bar. It is fairly new to the neighborhood, but I have already been a few times! It is one of the closest restaurants to me. Great for a drink and an app or a whole meal.

I love this Mexican restaurant. It's fairly inexpensive, closeby and has great margaritas. I have yet to order something I haven't liked.

A little BYOB fresh pizza place. I love their pizzas and salads. I usually pick up or get delivery, so if you've had a long day of shopping or sight-seeing, this might be the place for you!

Bobtail Ice Cream is wonderful! It's homemade and oh-so-delicious. It's right at the end of my street, which makes it a dangerous place for me. My favorite flavor there is Cubby Crunch.

This is the very best place to buy someone a gift. I've also bought things for my apartment here. It is the cutest little shop. They have quite a bit of Chicago items, so you could buy souvenirs too.

Sightseeing
This free zoo is very nearby. I walk here, but it's a little bit of a hike. A beautiful hike though, because you will be walking through Lincoln Park the park to get there.

My grocery store of choice. Walmart is closer, but I like Trader Joe's stuff much better. There is a parking garage off Orchard if you chose to drive. I usually walk, unless it's really cold.

DOESN'T show the closest location. The new one that went up is at Broadway/Surf. A good place for inexpensive grocery items or forgotten toiletries (check with me before you buy any of the latter!).
