The Okere Falls walking trail, managed by DOC, you can walk to the Okere Awa from the house (8mins) cross highway 30 onto Okere Falls Road. The DOC trail starts here, except to spend about an hour seeing 3 waterfalls at numerous view points. Also this trail has glow worms that light the way at night.
