Exercise

For some local cycling flair, and a significant off-road challenge, try the Old Stone Road Trail just off North Muldrew Lake Road. Just follow North Muldrew Lake Road west for about a kilometre, take the left fork in the road (not towards Loon Lake), then ride about another ½ km and look for the trail sign on the right. You will need a mountain bike for this trail and likely have to dismount once or twice (lots of streams and some mud likely) before emerging in a field. Follow the trail on the field about 150 yards and you’ll reach North Muldrew Lake Road again. Turn left to head back to our cottage (or right for even more riding fun). It’s a great ride (less than 10K), but not for casual riders. We recommend wearing bug juice as this ride is mostly in the woods.)
