Hadrian's Wall - wall along the wall here towards Gilsland. There is a suspension bridge to cross and see the remains of a Roman fort. Tourist spot to get a bite to eat and drink and activities for children. It's a great family day out.

Beautiful priory with William Morris tapestry. The nearby castle Naworth Castle is beautiful. There is a lovely walk along the river and this is near to Hadrian's Wall. Nearby Walton village is a lovely stop as well with a nice cafe.

A lovely 2 mile walk around a Tarn teeming with wild life. Great for children to run around. You can hire paddle boats, have a coffee and there is icecream too.
