The South Golden Beach is a quiet relaxed beach less than 5 minutes drive. Byron Bay beaches are busier than here so we prefer to avoid the crows and head for South Golden or New Brighton beaches.

The local fresh farmers market is every Tuesday morning from 7.30am to 11am. A really great place to have some yummy breakfast, coffee and grab some local produce for the week. They also have live music every week. Not to be missed.

This is a fantastic place to have a yummy vegetarian plate of falafels. Possibly the yummiest falafel of your life :) Big statement I know! They also do great coffee and some sweet treats too! Open daily!

if you're looking for that friendly cafe with delicious food and great coffee then this is the place to go! I have never experienced a bad brunch there! It is also only minutes walk to the river and opposite is a children's park for the children to let some steam off! Note that Brunswick is a very popular and busy place :) Parking is not always easy but if you park a little bit further from the centre of Bruns, then you should have no problem.

Note that Brunswick is a very popular and busy place :) Parking is not always easy but if you park a little bit further from the centre of Bruns, then you should have no problem.

I highly recommend parking your car at the Pass Beach parking grounds and having a coffee or bite to eat at the Pass Cafe - open 7 days, serving breakfast from 7am until 11:30 am and lunch from 12pm until 2:30pm. Or perhaps start walking straight to the top of the light house for some stunning views and if you're in luck, hopefully some dolphin watching and if its the right season, then whale watching! The Byron Bay Light House is not to be missed!
