Super yummy asian fusion/local food. Could be a bit noisy and crowded but worth the wait. The portions are family sized. If you have party of 6 or more make sure to make a reservation.

Food truck/food stand. My preferred place to get Garlic Shrimp on the North Shore. Wait is long but you can call in your order ahead of time. If you are not in a rush chill out under the tent on one of the benches while you wait for your food. There is also a small farm across the street that serves really good farm to table food and excellent coffee if the lines are too long here.

Great Memorial. Can enter museums for a fee but I always felt that viewing the free exhibit and taking the (free) ferry to the Arizona Memorial is enough.

Parks & Nature

Go fishing with the kiddies or the young at heart. Feed the ducks. No need to bring fishing pools they have it available at the visitor center. Do bring bread if you'd like to feed the ducks. Prepare to picnic here. There is a hut with benches or bring a blanket. Best of all it is free!

Gorgeous space in the city. If you come in the summer there is a summer concert series every Thursday. On mid-summer's night the garden is open late into the evening and lit with hundreds of candles.
