The main (and I think only) dish is this delicious italian kind of "sandwich/panino" called tigella. The place is super nice and the service is excellent, you can choose among "pre-designed" ones or just make your own with always fresh ingredients.

One of the few places in Como with "No stop kitchen", so the place is open since noon up to midnight on opening days.
The burgers are great, they offer near Km 0 original recipes, and also local craft beer; very welcoming staff and reasonable prices.

This is not a fancy place, but the pizza!!! No words for it...AWESOME!
This an old fashioned local pizzeria, which could seem quite unattractive, but one you'll taste their pizzas you'll never forget it! (Just go with the right mindset and not get high expectations about the place or the service even if they are quite nice)

Very relaxed and alternative atmosphere full of young people. There are usually additional events like movies, concerts, poetry, djs... One of my favourite places at Como to get a drink.

"Hidden bar", perfect for aperitivos. These guys have a lot of innovative variations of the spritz drink and a wide selection of wines; the best is the nice board of "salumi" (cold cuts) or recently baked pizza. Nice 90's kind of music.

On clear days the view is incredible, the lighthouse is located on a mountain besides Como and you can get a really amazing view of the city and the lake. (Not recommended on rainy or cloudy days)

One of the nicest parts of visiting Villa Olmo (besides the Villa itself) is the walking path to get there and to go back to Como center; it's a very italian experience to make the "passeggiata" (walk) while slowly seeing the lake and the city skyline.

This public park (free) gets quite full during hot summer days, lots of families and friends groups get there to take the sun and swim on the lake. There are bathrooms and a bar.
Just take your swimsuit and towel and experience "il dolce far niente" (the sweet doing nothing) with an astonishing view of the lake.
