Lake Monger Reserve is a major Perth tourist and local community destination offering a mix of passive recreation areas, shared use paths, nature trails, shaded playgrounds, picnic and barbecue facilities and some sporting facilities for recreation use. The middle of the park is taken up with Lake Monger, a habitat for an abundance of local flora and fauna making it a popular location to observe a wide selection of WA's beautiful birdlife. Boardwalks and lookouts are provided around the lake from where you can take in the lake's natural beauty, with a lookout on the north side of the lake enjoying views to the Perth city skyline.
