a full day out, lots to see and do, and you can get a joint ticket with Blackgang Chine with free return. In October the light trails are often great to visit.

it’s the oldest theme park in the world. Definitely not Disney and older thrill seekers may be disappointed by the limited rides on offer. But it is unique.

visit for the Needles themselves, the chair-lift down to the beach with it’s multi-coloured sand. Stay for the National Trust run Needles Battery, and the surprising history of the Isle Of Wight’s place in the space race.
