Walk to Beach

WALK TO THE BEACH It's around a 15min walk to the beach. The easiest route to the beach is to just follow the road up past the house all the way to the carpark then down the steep dune onto the beach. By far the nicest walk to the beach is to follow the road up behind the house for 150yds, first left turn off road, you’ll come to gate which you can walk around on the right hand side. There is kissing gate to the left of the second gate and then old white concrete building on your right. Keep the tall dunes tight to your right hand side and follow one of the many paths that take you to the beach. I've marked one of the best routes in red on the aerial photo. If you follow that down to the beach past the coastguard hut, the path is less steep down the dunes at the end. The blue route at the end will take you through the carpark and past the cafe but the dune is steeper at the end. The choice is yours!
