Lovely Cotswold town around 40mins drive away, best to take a scenic route through the pretty villages to get there rather than the main road. Go the Barnsley, Coln Rogers, Coln St Dennis, Northleach way, so much prettier. Can be busy with tourists in the Summer! Quite a few things to do with children here.

Considered the southern gateway to the Cotswolds, Burford is a really old Cotswold town. Very beautiful with an ancient medieval bridge. These churchey photos don’t do it justice. Lots of cafes and restaurants. The Burford Garden Company is worth a visit too on the outskirts. Beautiful homeware, a lovely art gallery and big cafe… as well as loads of gorgeous garden stuff!
