Great Chalfield Manor is a beautiful National Trust site to visit and it is ten minutes away by foot. There are lovely gardens you can walk around, with a large house and a small church. Check opening times on the National Trust website, or stop outside for a picnic if you don't fancy going in. Directions: walk up the track, turn left at the kissing gate before you reach the top, walk through two fields to reach the road and head straight for around 200m and it will be on your left.

Directions (roughly 15 minutes by foot): walk through the metal gate to the side of the entrance to the Airstream and turn left. Head towards the large tree in the middle of the field, and turn left again towards another gate. Walk all the way through the long field and reach a short, sheltered path at the end. Turn right at the end of the path and follow the road straight for approximately 500m, continuing around the corner and The Courts will be opposite you as you reach the main road.
