Sightseeing

Uisken Beach is a beautiful beach with great views. If you want to see the view from "The Last Look Back" cairn, there's a short but surprisingly strenuous walk up the hill on its east side where it will be clearly visible in the distance. From here, you can also take out your camera and capture some shots of Colonsay Island off to one side as well as Jura and Islay Islands across from each other at opposite ends of this scenic vista on Scotland’s West Coast

Ardalanish Beach Ardalanish beach is located a few minutes away from our croft and is absolutely gorgeous, so you could be forgiven for thinking that it's in Barbados.

The Killiechronan Pony Centre is the perfect place to explore the Scottish outdoors. Ponies and treks are available for all ages and abilities, so there's something here for everyone! The stables are based near Salen which can be reached by following signs towards Ulva Ferry. Booking ahead of time is essential as they're often booked out well in advance of your visit - but either way you'll have a great day exploring Scotland with these lovely ponies :)

Visit Ardalanish Farm, the home of Isle of Mull Weavers, producing a range of beautiful tweeds, from the wool of their native Hebridean sheep. All the year round, the workshop is open to visitors to see the amazing sight of the Victorian Dobcross power looms in operation. These looms are fascinating to watch in action; they maintain the highest quality by allowing the overseeing of every inch of cloth produced. Once made into garments, the finished tweeds can last for generations
