It’s owned by the famous Rick Stein, and he goes there quite often for a nice cold pint. It’s serves the most delicious food and the staff are very friendly.

These beaches are all close to the farm, Watergate bay running distance 3.4 miles, while my three year old can walk to Mawgan Porth via tracks and paths which is 2.5 miles.
Mawgan Porth is a beautiful beach which is walking distance from the farm, 3 miles. It has a great pub called the Merrymoor and a brilliant takeaway cafe/shop called Cornish Fresh. Its also home to King Surf which is fantastic for surf hire and lessons.

We love going to this beach as its absolutely stunning, quiet as the car park is small and it has a great little cafe. My children love going when its low tide as there is a natural pool called the horse pool.

Treyarnon Bay Beach is an excellent family beach with lots of sand and rock pools and can be used for surfing. It has a beautiful natural pool in the rocks.

We love going to the hangout as it’s serves fantastic sourdough toasties, coffee and smoothies. It also has the most amazing view over Watergate Bay and the girls are so friendly. It’s very rustic and we have even sat in the field to eat lunch but that’s part of its charm.

On the Path towards Mawgan Porth. It’s so off the beaten track I couldn’t find a listing for it. We walk here on a regular basis as they serve the most delicious bacon ciabattas and real kick start coffee. We also love the little dog who is in charge of everything, someone has to keep Jason in check. Donna and Jason are lovely and they always have a story to tell.
If you fancy a nice woodland walk this is the place to go. We love the woods cafe as they serve amazing scones, cakes and coffees. Cardinham Woods is great for a gentle stroll, 5 mile hike or if your into your biking the beast of bodmin trial will keep you on your toes as it’s a white knuckle ride through the trees.

I have seen these guys going out a few times, I would say they are not for the faint hearted as they go really fast. They go from the beautiful Lusty Glacé beach which is perfect for a nice relaxing drink while the other half goes crazy on a jet ski.
