A super hip Japanese restaurant with some of the best sushi I have ever had (yes I know we are in North Carolina just trust). Fun fact: COBO is a combination of the words “Colorado” and “Boone”. This is Nicole’s favorite and her favorite roll is the white dragon roll!

We accidentally discovered Egg Rollin via their food truck at a Halloween event in Boone a few years ago! Egg Rollin is a must try and has such a unique menu (seriously, they have things like pizza egg rolls. You don’t know it but you need to try it :)) highly recommended!

Not as boring as it sounds! Pack a picnic and take in the beautiful blue ridge mountains. With plenty of overlooks, this is the perfect way to spend a low key afternoon. There are also plenty of hiking spots along the way!
