City advice

Getting around

Indy is a commuter city

While we do have a local bus route- the best way to get around is via car. There is a Budget Car rental service at the airport. I would recommend Uber or Lyft as well
Customs and culture

Hoosier hospitality

Don’t be surprised if strangers smile at you or talk to you. This is very helpful if you are lost or need recommendations.
Don't miss

Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Don’t miss going to the track and experiencing “The Racing Capitol of the World!” Even if it’s not race season, make sure you see the awesome view of IMS. Our guest suite is only a short drive away.
Ways to save

Eagle Creek Park is a $6 entrance fee

Eagle Creek Park is located at 7840 W 56th Street which is a short drive from our suite. This is the largest park in Indianapolis and is open from dawn to dusk every day.
Book before you go

Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

Tickets are often less expensive if you order online before the planned date of your visit.
What to pack

Be flexible with what you pack

Indiana’s weather sometimes differs from day to day! Make sure you pack a pair of walking shoes and an umbrella. Most of all- have fun!!!
Useful phrases

What does Hoosier mean?

When a visitor hailed a pioneer cabin in Indiana, the settler would respond, “Who’s here?” From this frequent response, Indiana residents were called Hoosiers. (IN.gov)
Travelling with kids

We have what you need...

Our Guest Suite is kid friendly. We provide a Pack-n-Play, walker, and high chair for your convenience. Fun games, toys, and lots of entertainment for the kiddos.
