Guests of the estate can enjoy a private boathouse on the lake for their exclusive use. The boathouse has a wrap porch to enjoy the views. Guests of the "Brownie" have a nice little sun and shade outdoor lakefront spot. The lake is crystal clear for swimming and snorkeling.

Crystal Lake Hotel is about a minute from the house by car. It's multi-generation, family owned, white table cloth Italian dining (dining lakeside outdoors in spring and summer). Patrick there makes the best roasted vegetables anywhere.
