Winery & store, annual cranberry festival is held here in October (big draw, usually town wide event, as Bala is Ontario Cranberry Capital), festivities at the Winery run all month long and features wine tasting, marsh tours on tractor drawn wagon, bonfires, even plunging with hip- waders into a cranberry bog.
They Offer a daily Bog to Bottle Tour ($25)
Winter Skating on the Bogs ($18 weekend, $12 weekday)
Snowshoe Trails – 10kms of well groomed trails (2 HRS $12 weekend, $8 weekday)
