Make it a point to pass by the local fruit & vegetable shop with the freshest and most delicious produce. You can also buy all sorts of souvenirs and gifts from the variety of shops around.
There is a Tok-Tok station located right in front of Best Way’s Downtown Location, the local supermarket which makes transportation to your next stop quite convenient.

Mahmeya is a full day’s activity where you take the boat in the morning and return at sunset. I personally jump at every chance I get to go. You can spend the day there on a secluded island where their restaurant bar offers lunch, snacks and beer/wine. You can also take your own drinks/snacks along with you. The boat trip takes an hour and is just as enjoyable as the beach itself. The beautiful thing is it is suitable for all people whether you are alone, with friends or even with your family/children.

Sheraton RoadMahmeya is a full day’s activity where you take the boat in the morning and return at sunset. I personally jump at every chance I get to go. They also offer a variety of food from Breakfast to Lunch to Dinner considering those who prefer a healthy alternative. Happy Hour is from 6 pm to 8 pm. Tok Tok is the most popular mode of transportation around town. You can call them at most hours of the day and they will come pick you up from wherever you are.
It costs 20 LE from Point A to Point B anywhere in Gouna and fits 3 people at a maximum. You can also ask them to run several errands with you at a higher fee depending on the time spent.
Note that Tok-Toks are open air so you may want to grab a jacket for the ride if the weather is a bit colder !

You can call them for Pick Up and Drop Off around town. The car is a Toyota 4x4 and costs 35 LE per trip, excluding waiting time. Also there is a Tok Tok available in case you need anything delivered to your doorstep. Mobile Number : 01228760000
Ways to save
Fruits and Vegetables
Pick up your Fruits and Vegetables from the Local Fruit &Vegetable Marketplace rather than the supermarkets. You will find a bigger variety and fresher produce at barely any difference in price. Moreover, the owner is cheerful and willing to help when it comes to advice. It’s an experience!
