Again, following Covid suggestions. Go early or late, if you don't like to wait. Steaks are fantastic as is the crusted halibut. You won't leave hungry. The restaurant is perfect Montana style!

This is a great stop after a long day at Glacier National Park as it is on the way back to our cabin. Baby Back Ribs are the best. Also have good pulled pork and chicken. The Indian Fry bread is a meal in itself. Don't forget the honey! It does get busy, but really worth the wait. After a day of hiking, you will have an appetite for this!

You will find some lighter menu items plus their beer, of course. They have Thia bowls and interesting nachos. They have some fun mugs and t-shirts with their cute little mascot, a porcupine.

Now we move to the West side of Flathead Lake. This is a beautiful restaurant with an outside eating area next to a small stream. Again very busy, so go early or be ready to hang around outside or even in your car. They will text you.
For large groups, the giant nachos are great....but I mean large groups. Pork burritos are another favorite. You can't go wrong. Everything is great.

For large groups, the giant nachos are great....but I mean large groups. Pork burritos are another favorite. You can't go wrong. Everything is great.
Lovely Italian restaurant. Right on Main Street. Again gets busy quickly. We love the spaghetti and meatballs and the eggplant Parmesan. Nice music, pleasant atmosphere.

With Covid changes, Laughing Horse is only open this year for dinners with reservations Thursday - Sunday. They are seasonal and hope to have their great breakfasts back next year. Everything is wonderful! Although listed as BigFork, they are actually South in Swan Lake. That is a beautiful view in itself. Enjoy.

Fun restaurant with great ribs and anything smoked. In the summer there are picnic tables outside. You are close to everything in Whitefish. Enjoy.

This is a must see Lodge in the park. The lake is beautiful and has boat tours in the summer. The lodge is great to walk through and usually has someone playing the piano. Sit in the rocking chairs on the stone deck and enjoy the lake and mountains.
If you are there at lunch time, the restaurant is fabulous (closed this season for covid).
