If you want to have lunch or a romantic dinner in the courtyard of a convent, this is your place! Here was the Ursuline nuns school and kindergarten where many Omegna children went to school (including me!) A delightful place where you can taste modern dishes prepared with ingredients also from the lake. The risottos are delicious. Nice to eat both outside and inside Remind to reserve your seat!

La Zucca is a restaurant from my childhood where on autumn Sundays we climbed up to Arola to go to a restaurant that we children considered so chic! The family that has run it for 38 years is always the same. The mother in the kitchen, the daughter in the room with the father will welcome you with kindness from the past. You will taste traditional dishes often reinterpreted in a modern way.
The cheese trolley should be honoured for the carefully research, and to listen the story of the valleys through pastures and dairies. The two dessert carts will teach that it will take measure to build the command to leave a space for chocolates and preserves.

Villa Crespi is the "castle" of Antonino Cannavacciuolo, a starred chef and a TV star in Italy. If you have won the lottery or you have something so special to celebrate that you can go crazy, you can try the starred restaurant :) However, before booking, please check the price of the menus on the website, to avoid any surprises. It is however nice to have a look at this liberty Villa, passing in front of its big gate while you are going to Orta or on the Sacro Monte. And , if you have children, show them a fairytale building. They will be enchanted and you too!
