United Cab is a great local option. There's an app!
Uber/Lyft are always available.
Buses are plentiful and inexpensive. Check out the GoMobile app.
Streetcar on St. Charles Ave is a must do. Not necessarily as your main mode of transport but for the experience. It can be a good option to the FQ depending on how many people are in town.
Useful phrases
If someone says "I know where you got dem shoes.."
Just smile and keep walking. They're going to say you got them on your feet but this is an old trick that will then lead to hassling you for a tip. My advice: Don't engage.
