About an hours drive to Park and Ride which means a fun train ride along Carbis Bay - probably the prettiest train ride there is. Tate St Ives, Hepworth museum and loads of other galleries to explore. Beautiful Beaches too! Artists paradise as the quality of light is amazing

Probably the best National Trust house I've ever visited! superb grounds (you can cycle round the estate) Guided tours of gardens. interesting house, lovely drawing room where you can sit and go through old albums and read family letters. I love this place!

Great beach for surfing. You park on the beach (charges) surf lessons surf and wetsuit hire. shops, bars and cafes. Quieter in the winter lovely walks to Daymer Bay and Rock or round to the Rumps and Lundy Bay.

stunning beach when the tide is out (so check!) Walk across rocks to plenty of sand. Rock pools lovely for children. Good surfing beach. cafe, shop and loos. Port William Pub offers a great vantage point to watch the tide come in and enjoy the sunset.
