They have everything for everyone. It's close by and a great place to go when you aren't quite sure what you are in the mood for. The bison burgers are delicious as are the bison pot stickers.

If you've never had an andouille sausage pizza with wild mushrooms, this is to die for. They have a great gluten-free pizza and brew their own beer.

A little more high-end, but the meals are worth it. During summer, the outdoor patio is dog-friendly!

If you love dive bars, this place is a hidden gem! It's a dusty old gas station, turned into a live music venue. I popped in randomly one night and Ben Taylor (Carly Simon and James Taylor's son) was playing about 4 instruments at the same time! You never know who will pop into town to play here.

Parks & Nature

Sour Dough Canyon is my favorite doggie walk place. It's in a valley with a creek on the west and high hill on the east. So they are pretty well contained. Nice XC Ski tracks in winter!
A very interesting excursion for those in search of stalagmites and stalactites.

It's uncanny to sit next to a volcano, actually in a cold river with periodic boiling water pouring off the rocks.

This is a pretty mellow hike from the parking lot up to the water tower and back. It provides a great view of Bozeman as well as a fun sledding hill in the snow.

So many trails to explore! Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy a nice swim. Park the car, pick one and get out and walk. It's amazing.

Simply take a stroll down one side of Main Street and up the other. There's cute clothing stores, coffee shops and fun along the way.

Heeb's is closer to the house but Town and Country has a better selection of food I like to eat. Right in the middle of MSU, next to Bridger Brewing.

Sightseeing

Although this museum is very tiny, it is a hidden secret of Montana. There are some wonderful exhibits of computing dating back to antiquity along with excellent explanations. It is definitely well worth a visit. Entrance is free and it exists through donations and grants.

You can get up close to several live grizzly bears. Hopefully you get a chance to see them at feeding time. Cute, but also pretty scary!
