Sightseeing

Ubud is so beautiful, and has a laid-back feel. Visit Gunung Kawi temple, Tampak Siring, Tegalalang rice paddies, Ubud art market, Monkey forest, Kintamani. I recommend staying a night or two in Ubud. Probably taking the opportunity to hike mount Batur.

Beautiful view of the cliff and the beaches in the southern part of Bali are beautiful. Start a day trip at around 10 pm to see the Uluwatu temple, then head to one of the beaches and spend an afternoon there (Bingin is my favorite spot) and head back in the evening (just after Sunset), grilled seafood dinner on the way home in Jimbaran Bay.

The fish market is super interesting to see. Visit the market early in the morning, you’ll get beautiful scene of local fishermen and their boats and the freshest fishes and seafood on the island. Dinner on Jimbaran bay is on the must do list.

City advice

Getting around

Rent a scooter

Renting a scooter is the most convenient way of getting around in Canggu. If traveling in a group, hiring a driver with a car is the best option.
Don't miss

Saturday market at Oldman’s

Once every month or so, local self-made entrepreneurs gather around and sell their products at a half price compared to those you find in shops.
