Beautiful red sandstone ruined abbey. Lady Dervorgilla had the abbey built as a tribute to her beloved husband . When he died she had his heart embalmed and carried it with her until she died and was then laid to rest with him. Close to the scrumptious Sweetheart Abbey coffee and gift shop.
