Neighborhood Bar

Places around the neighborhood to pop in for a bite to eat. $$ price range
Park Bench is a great place to grab dinner or a drink, and it's only a block away! Please note, they usually do not open until 5 and they aren't open on Mondays. They have a great selection of local beers on tap and the staff are always incredibly friendly.

They have delicious bar food with a slight carribean/beachy twist to some of their dishes. Cocktails are good, beer selection is good though everything is in bottles or cans. Their week day specials are fantastic and they have karaoke every other Saturday night

Our favorite pizza place for standard kind of pizza (like Papa Johns, but way better). The food on their menu that isn't pizza has a slight mediterranean/healthy twist (like their fries are baked, they have a delicious grilled eggplant sandwich, etc).

Breakfast Spots

Since so many of the restaurants/bars in the neighborhood are only open for lunch and dinner, here are some places you can get breakfast close by
This is a great place to grab breakfast if you're looking for something filling and reasonably priced. The service is always fast, and it's solid diner food. You can also order it for pick-up

Their breakfast beverages are very tasty and they have a decent selection of fresh pastries. They do have hot foods, but they aren't amazing. Pro for our pet guests: they'll let you bring your dog in if you're coming in to order your coffee!

Tasty, more food-y breakfast place. Accordingly, it also comes with a higher price tag ($$ instead of $). On weekends it gets very busy after 10am and you may need to wait for your table.

Tasty breakfast for a little more moolah, similar to Spoons. But Blue Moon is more funky and fun whereas Spoons is more of a foodie place.

Breweries

If you like hoppy beers, this is the place for you. If you don't like hoppy beers...well, they have a handful of other random beers and their outdoor space is pretty cute! Also brick oven pizza. Always a win.

Probably the most well-known brewery within the City limits. They brew a great variety of beers, and their new space in the Union Collective is very cool. If you make the trip up there, be sure to check out the other spots in the Collective (Baltimore Spirits Company, The Charmery, Earth Treks)

Chill brewery near the stadiums. Decent selection of beers (not as good as Union, but more than Diamondback). You can take dogs into the tasting room! They don't have much food-food on a regular basis though, so plan accordingly.

These are restaurants that are a little more special than the "Neighborhood Bars"
DELICIOUS brick oven pizza. Home made pasta. Great cocktails. Happy hour specials are legit. Cool decor. One of my favorite date night spots, for sure.

Neighborhood Necessities

It's RIGHT by the house, so it's the go-to if you need something fast from the store. Their produce and meat selection isn't the greatest though. If you download the app, you can get a coupon for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more (usually valid Thursday-Sunday of that week)

Further from the house, but better veggies and meats, wider selection of what I would call fancier groceries (like sun-dried tomatoes or quinoa)
