Quick walk for coffee and a bit in the morning. In the evening go for the drunken clams and a glass or wine or local beer. In the summer, they have an awesome patio upstairs.

The best pizza in the state of Alaska! My favorite is the buffalo chicken pizza. For a beer, ask for the Rapple (their local raspberry wheat mixed with an apple ale).

Amazing view from their patio, local brewery, good food! It’s busy here though so call ahead or avoid peak hours. My favorite beer here is called “Just the tip”.

Drinks

The only cider shop in Anchorage! Say hello to the bartenders, a few of them are good friends of mine. The “forget me hopped” is my favorite cider or on a hot summer day order the pineapple!

What to pack

Clothing

Alaska’s weather can change quickly pack layers and be prepared for warm weather if you’re here in the summer. We have had historically hot summers and our sun beats down at a different angle that makes it feel a bit warmer. If you plan to hike, pick up bear spray in the hunting/outdoors section of the grocery store.
