The closest beach to the house. 1 mile due west. It is known as one of the nicest beaches in Naples. There is onsite parking (although we walk sometimes) and food concessions. It is also a great place to catch the sunset.

Great attraction that is close to the house as well. Often in the mornings, you can hear the monkeys howling in the distance. Plenty of onsite parking…or you can even walk there if you are feeling ambitious.

170 Acre botanical garden in Naples. We enjoyed it so much that we bought a membership so we can go all the time. It is very relaxing and has a whole kids section as well.

I’ve taken guests here a few times. It is about 30 minutes away and is a fun time on an airboat through the everglades. The nice thing about it is that it is really close so you don’t have to drive all the way into the depth of the Everglades to experience an airboat and alligators. You have to call ahead for reservations.

A lot of healthy food options (I recommend the orange cauliflower bowl with protein of your choice) in addition to burgers etc (I would recommend the Lake Park burger). They have really good milkshakes too. You order at the window and sit on the open air or covered patio.

Great place for really inventive drinks. I would recommend the Cedar Fire Old Fashion. It is a sight to behold served on a smoking cedar plank. The food is very good here as well. We usually enjoy a walk to the pier just after dinner.

(tucked away hind Bice…it is an Italian market but also a great restaurant) – Great place for a sandwich at lunchtime. Just be careful what time you arrive as they close mid-afternoon for food service…although the market is still open.

Food Trucks! Great for an evening of fun. Lots of food to choose from with our favorites being Gigi Gourmet and Dilly’s Seafood. We have yet to try them all. There is plenty of parking, a large outdoor bar at the end of the trucks on the canal and outdoor games to play on the side of the park (giant Jenga, ping pong, bean bag throws…just go to the bar to ask for paddles, bean bags etc).

It is a bit of a hole in the wall kind of place but it has really good tacos (and margaritas). Everything is homemade and at around $2/taco, it can’t be beat. There is sometimes a line-up but it is well worth it.

Really nice restaurant. Difficult to get into for dinner but they do have a “Social Hour” that we enjoy outdoors prior to the dinner rush. Their almond encrusted grouper is a must try.

Great pizza with high quality ingredients. Either take out, deliver or they have a really fun interior if you want to dine in. You can tell they love to make pizza. As a side, try their pizza bones.
