Supposedly the oldest wine bar in England, it looks like a cove with low ceilings and therefore a lot of noise, but I find it a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and charcuterie in nice company.

Great views of London, as good as the Shard, I think, but you don't have to pay £35 to go up. All you need is to book to have breakfast or a drink at the bar, or lunch/dinner at one of the restaurants up there. I usually take my personal guests there for brunch.

East London is very different and one of my favourite things about that part of London is the amazing Street Art all over it. I took a 4-hour tour (Shoreditch Street Art Tours) a couple of years ago and it was awesome, I absolutely recommend it.
