If you want to catch a basketball game, usually you can look at tickets 1 hour-45 minutes before it starts and there are usually cheap tickets on stubhub. Barclays is two avenues away from my apartment.

Getting around
Subway>Citi Bike> Uber
Subway is definitely fastest especially during traffic time (330pm-630pm). Citi Bike is also a great option. There is a Citi Bike station located across the street from the apartment on Bergen Street and Vanderbilt Ave
