Food Scene
It has won the "best pub in Britain" award several times. She, Judy, serves excellent food, locally sourced including fresh caught Applecross bay seafood. She is not expensive, serves food all day and has a "fish and chip" caravan outside for those who cannot wait a minute longer! Brilliant place to go.

It is the highest paved road in Britain with spectacular views. The pub is the reward and for families there is a wonderful sandy beach where the silver sand has gone up the cliffs and the local kids snowboard down it. 4 miles from the village after Applecross Bay. Great to continue round the coast road or return over the Beallach. Brilliant, not expensive pub food.
