Lovely independent cinema with a stylish bar. They do great coffee, wine and beer - which you can take in to the cinema in real glass! Classy.

Museum about childhood toys and games - kids enjoy it as its set up so that they can charge around and there are indoor sandpits etc, adults love it for nostalgia factor. It's got a decent cafe too. Free (I think maybe you pay to go into the temporary exhibitions).

Food scene

Lovely local Italian, friendly service and good cocktails. Really welcoming to children in true Italian style, but stylish enough for a date too.

Gorgeous little cafe with amazing rack of (often designer) vintage clothes at very good prices, curated by the lovely owner, Maria. They sometimes do food pop ups, otherwise it is just a coffee and croissant place - but definitely worth popping into for the clothes!

Created for the 2012 Olympics, the stadium now is home to West Ham (and lots of other events, eg athletics, baseball). The rest of the park is great for families and cycling or walking. Check out the views from the ArcelorMittal Orbit - and ride the helter-skelter if you're brave enough!
