Historical bakery that serves great coffee and pastries (bakery is open on the weekend). Best to get there early so you don't miss out. There's also some lovely little shops (albeit on the pricey side) in the small village.

Mullumbimby Farmers’ Market, every Friday morning 7am-11am, is where you’ll see Mullum at its colourful best. Since its opening in 2010, the market has become the gathering spot for Mullumbimby’s vibrant community, re-inventing the age old tradition of a community market meeting place. Set under magnificent fig trees in the lush foothills of Mt Chincogan, it’s a wonderful place to shop for fresh produce, meet with friends, enjoy a market brekkie and local coffee, and soak up the fun and friendly vibe. There’s live local music each week, plus a dedicated kid’s space to keep the little ones entertained. The market also hosts regular workshops and special events throughout the year. The market is a not for profit organisation, which means every dollar you spend goes toward supporting local farmers, the community and a more sustainable future. The car park entry is by gold coin donation. Be sure to take your own bags.

Killen Falls is perfect if you only have an hour or so to spare. A small carpark leads to the viewing platform overlooking the falls. Continue walking down the track down to the bottom of the falls. The path can get slippery after rainfall. Take some water shoes if you have them.

Lennox Head Coastal Walk A fantastic scenic coastal walk culminating in stunning views from Lennox Point and the Pat Morton Lookout. You can begin at the end of Rutherford Street where there is a small carpark, beach access, picnic table and a set of children’s swings. Alternatively, you can join the track from a number of beach access points along the way. Simply follow the beachfront boardwalk which changes into a pathway at the end of Dress Circle Road all the way up to Lennox Point and the Pat Morton Lookout. Located on the top of Lennox Point – affectionately known as ‘The Point – the Pat Morton Lookout offers spectacular views of the coast as far north as Byron Bay. It is a prime whale-watching spot (during whale migration season from June to November) and it also a great place to watch the locals and the dolphins carve it up at its world-renowned right hand point break! This is also a popular hang gliding spot and when the weather conditions are spot on you’ll spot quite a number of them soaring through the skies. There is a further man-made walkway over to Boulders Beach and Sharpes Beach. The bush track follows the coastline offering sweeping views of our eastern coastline. It is peaceful and relaxing and can be done from either starting point - Pat Morton to Sharpes or vice versa. It’s also handy to know that there is a water fountain and single unisex toilet located near the carpark exit to the Pat Morton Lookout.

Minyon Falls Minyon Falls is one of the largest in the area, located in Nightcap National Park. A short walk from the carpark is the viewing platform, overlooking the falls and the national park. After rain, the falls are spectacular and definitely worth bringing your camera! If you’re looking for a full day adventure, the Minyon Falls walking track allows you to wander through the forest, past beautiful creeks leading to the bottom of the waterfall. The track is 13km return, so be prepared with plenty of food and water to last you throughout the day.
