Highland is a diverse neighborhood that has fully embraced the 21st century. There are award winning restaurants on the street as well as Doughnut Friend which is rated on LA times as one of the top 50 places to snack on in Los Angeles. There are electric scooters for rent and they have multiple events on the street from street food destivals to halloween bar crawls. As well as a fun scene for adults it is also home to large artist playgrounds and mutiple play areas. The majority of resturants even have kids menus. However if you visit make sure to bring some money as the prices can be both be cheap or expensive.
