There are LOTS of oyster bars in Charleston, most are pricey or gimmicky. We love this one! We love sitting at the bar, where the bartender shucks them right in front of you, and the oysters start at $1. Its also right next to the city market.

We like to wave at people here, it's that Southern Hospitality you have heard of...if you're driving down a neighborhood road and someone is outside, it is customary to wave hello as you drive by.
We also don't honk horns very often here, unless necessary.

Humidity in the summer is real! Try to avoid being outside in the heat of the day.
