We love Rocket to Venus -- we eat there just about every week. It has something for everyone -- burgers, vegan noodles, salads, and good brunch. Also, local brews and great people watching.

Best coffee in the city--expensive, but well worth it. Also serve homemade donuts, muffins, sandwiches, etc. Related to the wonderful Woodberry Kitchen but doesn't require 6 mo advance reservation.

Great wood fired pizza and local beer. It is walkable although about 25 minutes. Go up Remington/Chestnut, left on the Avenue and straight until Clipper Mill road.
