Excellent steakhouse with very reasonable prices. Expect a very casual dining experience but a reservation is a must +420 222 714 653 They speak English but do not take card so be sure to bring cash. Steaks range from 189czk up to about 300czk which is very cheap since all there meat comes from a farm just outside of Prague.

A Michelin Starred steak house with amazing food and outstanding cocktails. Obviously it is not a cheap restaurant but makes for a lovely evening. (Expect a bill of over 150 Euro for 2 people)

City advice

Getting around

I recommend using an app called PID Litacka

This will allow you to purchase tickets for public transportation on the app. I also recommend using google maps on your phone. This will show walking directions as well as tram numbers and arrival times. Please note the public transportation in Prague operates until 2 am and then there are late night trams offered- it is basically a 24/7 operation.

Visit Prague castle

Walk to tram stop: Jana Masaryka Take tram number either 22 or 23 to Ujezd Next take the cable car up the hill to Petrin LD (Note the regular public transportation ticket covers the ride on the cable car) Now you will be at the top of the hill you can see the Eiffel Tower of Prague. Next you will follow the signs and walk to the Prague Castle, it is about 1.6 KM walk but it is on level ground and very easy, the walk should take about 15 mins respectively. Once you arrive at Prague Castle, enjoy your time there ands be sure to take a lot of pictures, the view is beautiful and remember you do not have to pay anything to access the Castle grounds. You can buy tickets there if you would like to go into any special buildings.

After Prague castle

Ok great, so you’ve seen the castle and the views. Next you will want to walk down the hill to see the awesome John Lennon wall: Velkopřevorské náměstí, Malá Strana, 100 00 Praha 1 The Lennon wall is very cool and there are some other great sights along the way. From the Lennon wall you can walk across the famous Charles Bridge. (Please watch your pockets on the bridge as this is the only place I have heard of people being pick pocketed) Once across the bridge walk over to the Astronomical Clock: Staroměstské nám. 1, 110 00 Josefov (I do not recommend eating or drinking anything at the restaurants looking at the clock as their prices are ridiculous and they do not accept cards usually.

Closing

Remember to have a nice time, be safe and respectful of this beautiful ancient city. Remember the Tram’s always have the right of way even over a road crossing so do not walk in front of them. I am available to my guest 24/7 so please save my contact information and do not hesitate to call, message, text or send a raven if necessary. Thanks, Giovanni

Perfect day trip from Prague

1) Kutná Hora Why go: Take in some captivating medieval architecture and pay a visit to the Sedlec Ossuary – the “Bone Church” – the creepiest sight in Central Europe. 2)The Pilsner Urquell Brewery, Plzeň Why go: For lovers of beer, a tour of the Pilsner Urquell Brewery, the birthplace of modern lager, is an absolute must. What to see: Pilsner Urquell is considered the gold standard for beer in a country with some very stiff competition. The guided 70-minute brewery tour is Plzeň’s biggest attraction, you can book everything ahead of time online over the brewery website.
