Ballard is a great neighborhood with diverse restaurants, live music and movie theater. It is very close to our house! Easy to get to via car, biking, or bus. Aside from the nightlife you can visit the Ballard Locks and meander over to Golden Gardens Beach which is nearby.

Fremont is a fun and quirky place to explore with a great food scene, local shopping, and unique landmarks. Not to be missed are the Fremont Troll, waterfront trails (in front of Google campus) and Fremont Sunday Market.
