Sightseeing

Llanerchaeron is a National Trust property. It's a great place to walk the dogs in the woodland and grab a bite to eat afterwards. Its just half an hour from The Three Spaniels. Parking and the woodland walks are free to access but there is a charge for visiting the house and gardens.

Seaside Town

New Quay is a bustling little seaside town. There are plenty of good places to eat but our favourite is fish and chips and a cuppa on the jetty, looking out for dolphins which are often spotted here. One of the two beaches is dog friendly, the other better for the bucket and spade brigade. Try stand-up paddle boarding or sea kayaking too.

A pretty Georgian seaside town famed for its brightly painted cottages, there are lots of great places to eat in Aberaeron or take a stroll along the beach.

Woodland walks

Brechfa is a vast expanse of woodland criss-crossed by footpaths, bridleways and mountain bike trails. Bubbling brooks run through it and there are numerous picnic spots, official and otherwise, to enjoy your lunch and the views. We recommend parking in the woodland car park and Abergorlech, then popping to The Black Lion in the village for a refreshing pint and a snack in the lovely beer garden beside the river.

Walk from the National Trust car park through the stunning river valley down to a beautiful beach. Return for a warm welcome from The Plwmp Tart - it's a great cafe!!

Beach favourite

Poppit is great whatever the weather! A vast expanse of beach and dunes alongside the Teifi estuary, it's great for walking the dog or picnicking with the kids. There's a great cafe too.
