I’d choose here over Rocksalt any day! Recently heralded the best Basque Country food Giles Coren has ever eaten.
Their croquettes are better than any I have tasted in and out of Spain.

I’d choose here over Rocksalt any day! Recently heralded the best Basque Country food Giles Coren has ever eaten.

Best fish and chips in the area - get a takeaway and eat on The Leas (but watch out for the seagulls!), or enjoy back at the apartment.
I recommend cod and chips with mushy peas and tomato ketchup. And LOADS of salt and vinegar!

Three minutes walk from the apartment, The Leas is a traditional Victorian seaside promenade with beautiful views of the sea and, on a clear day, France!
The path runs down into the town centre so I’d recommend taking this more scenic route on your way to the shops.
