Yosemite is a beautiful national park to visit... particularly in the early summer (June) when the waterfalls are plentiful from the mountain snow melting! You can raft and hike and paint. It's really breathtaking. It's about a 6.5 hour drive from LA.

You have to check out Vegas if you have the time. About a 5 hour drive from LA... the hotels are incredible. Even if you don't gamble or drink there is PLENTY of entertainment to keep you occupied. They're known for their shows so plan to check out a couple while you're there.

If you have time when you’re in or near Las Vegas carve out a day to kayak the Hoover Dam! So peaceful and gorgeous!
