NYC Places to visit

As a native New Yorker I have explored so much of the city and my home borough Brooklyn! Here are some of my favorite places along with New York's must see spots!
For the most beautiful views of lower manhattan, the statue and bridges, including the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, definitely visit the top floor of One World Trade Center. Get here as early as possible (8 am) because lines will get longer throughout the day. Mondays-Wednesdays are ideal with less crowds.

Hands down my favorite neighborhood in all of New York! The views of the bridge and skyline are amazing and the cobble stone streets show Brooklyn's character. You can see old rail lines and walk along the pier. There is great pizza and a cute carousel for families!

Previously railroad tracks, the Highline is a unique New York experience. Walk on this elevated road to see beautiful sunsets, live music and reach Chelsea Market.

The most iconic bridge in my opinion! Bike the bridge for some extra adrenaline. If you want great pictures going there as the sun rises is a must!

Small but mighty park close to Times Square. You can almost always find events and food stalls. In the winter there is ice skating and the amazing Christmas shops! In the summer they have free movies and free yoga.
