Pints Pub is a great little British pub just a few blocks from us. The bartender is really awesome. The food is good. And there's a HIGE whiskey selection. A great place to grab a pint with some mates and watch the match.

Been to Cervantes several times for shows. Everything from a Talking Heads tribute band, to jam electronica, to DJs and EDM. Mostly the latter, but not a bad place. Cervantes Other Side also does live art events during shows, silent discos, and has a couple of small food items.

Karaoke 7 days a week. What more needs to be said? They start early, and you should get there early too. Once the sun goes down, this place heats up and you may only be able to get a song or two in. Definitely worth it.

A lot of great bands come through here. There are two stages, one bar, a kitchen, and it's right in the heart of the entertainment area of Denver. The 1-up, Beta, and several other spots are within just a couple blocks.

Some of the best Mexican food in Denver. It's like a food truck, but indoors. They have constantly received the Best in Denver award. In might not look like much, but she's got it where it counts.

Two stories and always busy. Not only is this a place to be seen, but the food looks and tastes great. I've always been skeptical of inland sushi, but this place does not disappoint.

Parks & Nature

This park used to be a graveyard 100 years ago. But no one ever finished putting the bodies in. And it really became a disaster. The city came in and cleaned it up and turned it into a park..... but never moved the bodies. CREEPY.

Entertainment & Activities

What? Denver has a theme park? CRAZY! This place has rides for everyone. From wooden coasters to modern steel rides. A whole lot of fun. Not terribly expensive and a great way to spend an afternoon or evening. Plus, this place lights up at night. A must see.

Getting Around

Union Station is the main hub from the commuter, airport, amtrak, and light rail transit systems. Plus there are a couple of really great restaurants and shops inside. Like any good train station, the ceilings are high, the marble is old, and there's a constant stream of people that keeps a crazy buzz in the air.
