Best bars & restaurants in walking distance

We are in a reasonably quiet part of Camden , leafy streets and impressive big houses with hidden gems of places to eat and drink .I recommend heading to Kentish Town rather than Camden High Street for bars, restaurant and venues.
just at the end of our road , very convenient for a cheapish lunch , £6 choice of 3 dishes one of which is always vegetarian. Busy at the weekends but always welcoming and very easy to be a lone drinker or diner. Good Pizzas , around £10 and a changing menu.

HUGE Waitrose in Granary Square , if its sunny you can buy food and drink and sit under the trees on chairs and tables provided by the owners of the square , there is a fountain feature which children play in during the day and the St Martins fashion students sit around looking amazing. Some times there is free outside cinema which you can watch sitting on cushioned steps by the canal .

It is just fascinating , lots of medieval art that you dont see in the big galleries . On Tuesday evening it sometimes has candle lit tours of the rooms.:Sir John Soane's Museum is a house museum that was formerly the home of the neo-classical architect John Soane. It holds many drawings and models of Soane's projects and the collections of paintings, drawings and antiquities that he assembled. The museum is located in Holborn, London, adjacent to Lincoln's Inn Fields
