Shops and galleries will give you a chance to walk it off. Ask a local about the 4th of July Mountain Marathon that draws runners from across the globe.

More interesting are the year post signs. They'll show you the history of the glacier receding and where the glacier was going back 50+ years!

Stop for a minute to take some pics of the green mountain sides that more than likely will still have some winter snow new the tops. Averaging 5-10 feet of snow in the winter this area is a snow machiners' dream, but you can appreciate during warmer months.
