Nautical-inspired restaurant with a dedicated oyster bar and seafood-leaning menu right on Lake Union. With gorgeous lake views of downtown, it is the perfect place to sip your wine in an Adirondack chair or by their fire pit. You can even kayak, boat or paddleboard up to their little dock. Make reservations, these guys are popular!

Arguably Seattle's best rooftop restaurant and bar, the MBar menu leans in a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern direction and their cocktails are divine. In the summertime, their outdoor space is popping so make sure to get there early to snag a table!

What can we say, it's a PNW menu in PNW surroundings. High ceilings and cafe vibes make it the perfect spot for a coffee-fuelled work session, or day drinking... Next to the legendary local Elliott Bay Book Store, arguably Seattle's best place for books.

No visit to Seattle is complete without a solid seafood experience. If you want to take the sushi route, you can't go wrong at Sushi Suzuki in our local waterfront neighborhood of Madison Park. Try the omakase, go to heaven (should note you may pay a pretty penny for the journey).

Check out some of our favourite things to do in the city, and nearby!
Combined Mexican restaurant and paddle club? OK! Less than 10 min drive from our house, you can grab margaritas and kayaks in one go (though perhaps do it in sequence, with the kayaking first). Rent SUPs or kayaks and explore Seattle in the best way possible - from a lake perspective, where you can see houseboats and lake life up close.

One of Seattle's best yoga studios, Ritual is a 10-15 min bike ride or a 5 min drive from the house and has a range of classes taught by a truly wonderful group of teachers. Highly recommend! Try biking from Ritual through Interlaken Park back to the house for some post-yoga forest bliss in the middle of the city.

You can't stay with us without taking a stroll through the Arboretum - it's a few blocks away and Seattle's best park by far! Grab a coffee from Fuel on the corner and take a morning stroll. Biking around is also great fun - you can easily rent a bike from the Montlake Bike Shop or grab a public Lime or JUMP bike to use around the park - there are always plenty around both in and just outside the Arboretum.
