Food Scene

They have the best brunch in Terwillegar! It's a modern & stylish place, yet relaxed enough you feel comfortable having a caesar or mimosa with brunch on Saturday morning! It's a good place to have a drink or two while catching up with friends or family in the evening.

State & Main is one of my Go-To-Places. They have a good variety of kraft beers, cocktails and appetizers. They tend to switch up their menu, and currently these are their 4 new dishes, Miso Glazed Salmon, Lowcountry BBQ Ribs, Chicken Parmigiana & Thai Noodle Salad.

Remedy is my favourite spot in Terwillegar. Great coffee and a HUGE variety of drinks. Being a cafe, it's unique that they serve alcohol. It's not a surprise to see students studying, young ladies having wine, and entrepreneurs all doing their thing at the same time. They have a great selection of vegan and vegetarian options. I'm not vegan, but their vegan butter chicken with nam bread is my favourite dish. Lastly, it's open around 8 am, and closes at 2pm every night.

Mainly a restaurant, XIX Nineteen is the most common spot to have a couple drinks at night.. Terwillegar typically isn't a night scene.

I've lived in Edmonton for 7 years, this summer was my first time to Fort Edmonton Park. It was amazing! I couldn't believe how much there was to see and do. The staff was incredibly helpful, the grounds were clean and well kept!

Local secret! Located within a neighbourhood, these stairs give you an epic view of the river valley. Many people come here in the summer to hike, exercise and simply enjoy. Parking is on the street in the neighbourhood.

This is the biggest tourist spot in Edmonton throughout the winter. Most people book tickets to ensure they can walk through when it's convenient for them. I suggest getting these tickets, it can be booked weeks in advance.

Parks & Nature

This is my favourite camp site style park within the city. I typically park here and go for runs throughout the miles and miles of river valley trails. During the weekends many families come here to have family gatherings and BBQ's.
